Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- 1 can 8 oz refried beans
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 12 taco shells
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapeos optional
Instructions:
Start by heating the oven to 400F 200C
Put the ground beef and chopped onion in a large skillet
Cook over medium-low heat until the beef is browned and the onion is clear
Get rid of any extra fat
Add the taco seasoning mix and refried beans and mix them in
For a few minutes, cook until everything is hot and well mixed
Place the shells on their sides in a baking dish so they don't fall over
Mix the beef and beans together and put some in each shell
Add cheddar cheese shreds to the top of every taco
Put the tacos in an oven that has already been heated for 10 to 12 minutes, or until they are warm all the way through and the cheese is melted and bubbly
Once the tacos are done, take them out of the oven and, if you want, top each one with sour cream, black olives, chopped fresh cilantro, sliced jalapeos, and shredded lettuce
Enjoy your hot oven-baked tacos!
